Making knives for five years taught me the value of creating purposeful tools. 

Now, as an industrial designer, I’ve created tools ranging from a medical device that makes ICU nurses’ work easier to kitchen tools and appliances that elevate cooking. The throughline in everything I create is an obsession with looking closely at problems and imagining new tools to solve them.
